World Cup 2010 - GROUP G (Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal) **spoilers**

Drogba injured in the warm up against Japan today, think its an arm injury....SSN making light of his injury saying that we all know how Droggy likes to over dramatise his injuries:p

Lol at Spurs and Gunners fans, you lot are deluded.

Shame he is injured and going home but whats that got to do with him as a person?

Some reports that he might still be ok for the wc. Really hope he makes it as the group will be better and it'd be a shame if the best african player missed the first world cup in africa.

Tsk, typical luck with injuries really. If that was an Arsenal player he'd be injured for the next 6 months. Or much nearer to the domestic season. This won't affect Chelsea at all, in fact it'd benefit them as their main striker now gets a rest.

yes fantastic striker, awful sportsman, horrendous person...
Makes group G less exciting now though :(

You really should read up on who he is off the pitch before you call someone an awful person. Does he cheat more than a lot of others, yup, is he amongst the worst, yup, is he a great footballer anyway, yup, is he a total **** on the pitch, yup.

Off the pitch, he does a SHEDLOAD of charity work, and seems to be a genuinely very good person. Awful acting aside on the pitch, he gets a hard wrap and NO ONE, deserves to be injured. Supposedly a really painful looking tackle aswell, shame as the group was shaping up to be good, though maybe not as good as people think.

African nations teams look competitive in the ACN, but not long ago in a group of friendlies all the best teams in the ACN were pretty much trounced by incredibly average national teams. Ivory coast with Drogba had next to no chance of getting through.

There's no way Drogba is playing a world cup with a fractured elbow unless they drug him up with painkillers, even then he won't be half as effective and his movement will be limited.

Yep id be surprised if somehow he plays....he wont be as good as he normally is...seems like a lot of Chelski players are out of the WC ie Essien, Ballack, Droggy and Mikel as well.

Latest on Droggy is that he was flown to Switzerland where hes had surgery done on his arm so Ivory Coast saying that they havent ruled him out of the WC yet.
