So a lacklustre performance by Portugal and Ivory Coast see them get a point each and an excellent performance by North Korea see them bottom of the group
Football is so unfair sometimes. Portugal and Ivory Coast should have points deducting for that game earlier!!
Some days I think Wenger has a point about rewarding attacking play and goal scoring.
Not sure what someone is on about NK only defending for 88 minute, when they got the ball they went directly forward every time, the only big problem was they seemed to panick and shoot from 30 yards pretty often when its 3 against 4, or not terrible odds, when they did play through Brazils defence they made chances and looked dangerous, but describing them as defending for 88 minutes is utter rubbish.
You'll defend more against Brazil than other teams because they'll attack more, they most certainly didn't stick 11 men behind the ball and kick the ball up the field without chasing it like Inter do, they played pretty decent football.
Likewise, Robinho was the best player on the pitch, with Maicon close behind, Kaka was absolutely terrible throughout, as was Melo.
NK certainly gave a great account of themselves and I was thinking at 1-0, even if they sucumb to a 5-0 drubbing they still played very well in the first half and certainly gave a good account of themselves, at 2-1, they did exceptionally well.
