World Cup 2010 - GROUP G (Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal) **spoilers**

Pretty big statement by Portugal. It's the most complete display yet, trumping Brazil last night, who in patches played some great stuff.

Wonder what the Argies and Germany will come back with (the only 'big' teams to have put in a good display yet).

That was a proper spanking for the poor Nk's lol...7-0...about time Portugal turned up to the WC.

NK headlines will read 7-1 to the almighty NK:p:D...gotta keep up the patriotism there i suppose:p

some of the goals were poor, especially the 5th one the korean defender completely messed up his clearance, ronaldo's was luck more than anything.

i think korea crumbled more than portugal shining, only 2 of portugals players looked outstanding, the left back who outshined everyone else on the pitch and ronaldo who made some very good passes.

portugal got like a 7/10 for their performance in my opinion whereas korea get a 1/10. korea played a lot better against brazil. i'd like to see what happens when portugal play brazil, brazil have qualified so they might try out the 2nd team.

if portugal had won 4-0 against stronger opponents it would have been a better victory. north korea were 1000-1 to win the competition before it started.

This...i dont think NK played particularly well...they played better against the Brazilians though and i think the scoreline just makes Portugal look good when in reality they werent...they had a tough time breaking down the NK defence for a start but once they had a few then NK just crumbled.

But 7 goals is a very good scoreline for the Portuguese...

lol just saw the replay of what Kaka got sent off for, absolutely laughable. Football really needs a video ref like they have in Rugby Union, saves bloody stupid things like this happening.

im a huge brazil fan, i have even bought several brazil clothing in the past month; adidas zipper, calvin klein shorts, boxers, 2 polo shirts and a vest top (1 polo and the vest top for my fiancee). but i thought kaka knew what he was doing when he basically elbowed the guy, the reaction from the other player was terrible though, both should have been booked. kaka was also involved in the earlier confrontation too, he basically created both situations. he knew what he was doing in both circumstances and was rightly sent off, i have lost a lot of respect for him. the guy was running into him, he could have moved or side stepped instead he decided to hold his elbow up, 1 of the camera angles shows it perfectly. both platers were complete idiots.

i have £50 on them to win the cup too.

Either way, the ref didn't see it nor the assistant? I was under the impression if they didn't see it they can't act on it?

Tbh Brazil arent going to miss Kaka all that much...the first 2 games hes been pretty rubbish....he had one flash of brilliance and that was it before he was sent off.

But Brazil will cope without him and it might do Kaka a world of good to sit out a game and get his act together.
