Spain will beat Chile, and will qualify easily thanks to the fact that Switzerland will play out a miserably dull match against Honduras, where they'll barely trouble the opposition goal all game, despite the importance of needing to win.

I loathe the Swiss football team. If they ever meet Greece in a match, no-one ever remembers it happening, because anyone present dies of sheer boredom.

Brilliant:D...id be surprised if any channel carried that game:p

As much as i want Spain to win...i just dont know...they are awesome with the ball ie they keep it as much as possible a la Argies and Brazil style but they havent looked lethal in front of the goal...they should have spanked Honduras 5-6 nil but they didnt and i think if they do win it will be a 1-0 or something which basically means they come 2nd and play Brazil in the next round :/...hopefully Spain spank Chile tonight by a big margin to win their group.

Even a 1-0 win will get them top I think? They'd be level on GD but have scored more than Chile, and also have the result between them in their favour.

EDIT: Assuming the Swiss don't win 2-0 or more, that is.

Spain will have a better GD than Chile if they win. I think there will be 3 or 4 goals in the Spain/Chile game but I have no idea how it will break down! IMO it's by far the biggest game of the WC so far.

I can't wait for the Chile v Spain match, it's a game that Chile can't afford to lose and Spain need to win (presuming that Switzerland beat Honduras).

I can't see Chile playing for a draw they will go out with the intention of winning.

It's crazy to think England nearly won a group with just 5 points, and yet a team could go out today with 6 points. I want Chile to go through as a sweepstake team of mine, and the fact they've played quality football so far, but I also want to see Spain do well, as they're my pick to win it. Hence another reason for wanting to see Switzerland fail.

In fact, I must just give up on the more exciting game and become a temporary Honduras fan.

Hoping Chile's silly formation makes this a decent game to watch. Result does not bother me a great deal.
