Precisely what I was thinking. I wouldn't begrudge Germany if they win the WC as they have been brilliant, but it would be a shame if Klose broke Ronaldo's record because while he is a very good striker he isn't even in the same ballpark as Ronaldo. Plus didn't he score 4 or 5 goals against Saudi Arabia in 2002? Not sure they should even count lol.

I was 4 years old when Germany won the WC in 1990. I lived in Germany for 4 years. Germany won the WC in 1978 and 1990, 20 years apart. 20 + 4 = 24 (my age).

Do people still think Lampard and Gerrard are more talented than Schweinsteiger? Unbelievable performance by him, just dominated. He always has a good 3 metres of space around him because his movement off the ball is excellent.

Argentina were obviously going to collapse against the first good team they came up against, Maradona's tactics were poor, subs were poor. Messi was poor, Tevez was poor and Higuain was yet again a passenger. Maxi Rodriguez and Di Maria looked massively lacking. Macherano once again looked like he'd got a dirty secret on the ref, 6 fouls before getting a yellow is just a joke.
