Yeah but that doesn't prove anything. Roooney has scored from the left, doesn't mean it's using him to his best. Villa and Torres were effective at Euro 08 when playing together through the middle, now you have Villa stuck out wide and Torress looking like a ming vase down the middle.

pretty dissapointed with the world cup tbh.

It seems to me more than ever these days teams are focusing more on defending ie when they dont have the ball rather than how to play WITH the ball.

Iniesta really hasn't impressed me at all this WC.

He's never really impressed me, although he's not a bad player at all.

Pretty much all of Spain's passing has been dire so far.

He just seems to wander forward a bit and lose it or u-turn and pass it back. His finish against (insert team name here) was nice, but apart from that can't think of anything else of note?
