Kind of dead inside to this defeat, in the past (96, 98, 02) when we've gone out I've been devastated the losses of the golden generation have numbed me to it I think!! Just so little quality in their efforts.

FT 4-1 Germany. Seriously, who thought England would win that.

Even so no-one expected a defeat as heavy as that with how poor England were. Granted they've been poor the whole tournament but England have a strong team that should have been at least in the quarters.
