Biased ref, he was hoping to get uruguay another goal, he turned a 3 minute added time into nearly 5 minutes.

The rules are clearly lacking though. Fair enough, take out the last defender, he had a chance on goal, the infraction deals the team out another 'chance'.

A goal that was an utterly sure thing but was illegally batted away from the line should be met with an awarded goal, not merely a chance to try and get it via a penalty. It might be in the rules but it's clearly not fair recompense for what was clearly the winning goal. There was no 'might' about the final resting place of that ball had he not illegally handled it.

It is cheating.

Ghana could beat them, they effectively did, had Uruguay not cheated to prevent the winning goal.
 
Germany are going to thump spain imo normally the team that beats england wins it no ?
How many times have england lost to the eventual winners ?
 
Not exactly a great Dutch performance in all honesty...in hindsight it should be 2-2 really as the 2nd dutch goal shouldnt have counted.

But anyhow the thing that gets me is that Van Bommel and the amount of rash tackles he gets away with....geez no ref ever books him although he got a late yellow...big ****ing deal that makes...guy should have been sent off a few times since the WC has started...cheating little scumbag that he is:mad:.

Feel sad for the Uruguay players....was hoping they would have knocked out the Dutch as since they beat Brazil i cant stand them:p.

Hopefully Spain spank Germany tommorrow then spank the Dutch in the final...would be great to see Spain win the WC.

Was a bit surprised to hear only one commentator tonight...in fact he did a sterling job without having some other muppet ie Bright etc commentate with him.
 
Not very convincing from the Dutch, who'll struggle against Spain or especially the Germans, but you never know.

Some good goals though.

Yeh they cheated...he got sent off ie red card then Gyan went and missed the penalty...what more do you want??...the ref followed the rules and gave ghana a penalty....now it isnt uruguays fault nor the refs fault if the muppet missed his penalty lol.

Not only that it went to penalties where ghana again had the chance to win the game but no they missed a couple and were rightly knocked out.

Geez i cant believe people are still talking about that game when it happened last week and makes no difference to the games tonight.

Anyhow really hoping the Spanish knock the crap out of the Germans tommorrow night...nothing more would pee me off to see the damn Germans win another WC trophy.
