World Cup 2010 - Semi-finals **spoilers**

Forlan had a stormer, we made him the player he is today :p

Ahhh ill give you that fo sho:p:D

Forlans been amazing...singlehandedly been carrying Uruguay....much like Villa for Spain....Torres is just awful, honestly thought him coming on a sub would have been the right medicine for him but nope still useless:p...maybe he should go back to being blonde with long hair because since hes had them chopped hes lost his ability to score:p

Does anyone else think Mario Gomez is one of the worst footballers you've ever seen? He has looked utterly **** every time I've seen him play.

just shows how good this spain side are really the way they dominated the germans was unbelievable.

They have been dominant thats for sure with their possessional skills but my issue and i think a lot of peoples issue with them is that for all that lovely dominant football they just dont kill off teams properly.

I really noticed it tonight that even when they broke ie counter attacked...they have this really annoying habit of slowing it down...pass pass then nothing comes of it. Even the pundits in the studio said more or less the same thing that they just lack the killer touch....i dont know why Del Bosque has changed their dynamics compared to Aragones who had them playing fast flowing football at the Euros 2008.

Still an awesome side to watch with all that talent at their disposal...they remind me of Brazil who played like them in the past but with more flair and more killer touch within them.

Meh, incredibly unimpressive from both, the difference being Muller, completely uncredited as by FAR the best German player in all the games, wasn't allowed to play for one of the more ridiculous yellow cards in the world cup.

German massively massively missed Muller, if you go back and watch the games he's the guy who often makes the assist, arrives late in the box to score and is also the guy who always gets into space and gives someone like Oezil to pass to.

Oezil barely moved all game, same with Podolski, both were poor against Argentina aswell while Muller made that game, not sure whats up with those two, both carrying injuries or something, its the complete lack of movement, pace and effort they put in that seemed most strange.

Oh well, the cheats got through, so one big bunch of cheats will win the world cup, yay, largely due to poor refereeing. If Van Bommel went off way before half time like he deserved, or if Ramos was sent off for a horrible stamp/studs into someones foot, and a clear penalty where he hit the Oezil's upper leg with his knee, then clipped his ankle, and didn't get close to the ball. Being last man back thats either a straight red, or a second yellow after that studs in late tackle/stamp should have been a yellow.

Honestly couldn't see either teams in the final if the ref got those calls correct.

Pedro didn't dive to much, Busquets went down quite a few times, Iniesta, kept throwing himself at people and going down and his ball retention was appauling.

Tis a bit ridiculous that Capdevila got someone sent off against Portugal, while getting away with a clear foul on Ronaldo as he was probably going to get in with a shot on goal after. This game theres a clear penalty and subsequent red card ignored, honestly, a bit of a travesty.

As for the Germans, Oezil's impressed in a single game and been only half decent in the others, Podolski started brilliantly but since his penalty miss has barely been describable as a footballer, Klose has been truly world class, but had zero delivery this game, Muller was outstanding in each and every game, I'd prefer to spend £20mil on Muller than Oezil, if the rumours of Arsenal interest are true.

Well hes had a better WC than any Utd player lol:p:D...

Looking at the stats yesterday in the scum newspaper and ignoring the obvious goals the stats between Villa and Rooney really aren't that different in dribbles completed and passes made and completed. The difference being rooney got no service and had to drop so deep to pick the ball up.

The germans really didn't have that great a side but have been flattered by a complete lack of class playing them. They showed in the group games they were there for the taking. I never got carried away with the hype in them or the argies. Spain where always going to beat the germans if they kept the ball as they have shown they can.

Even Spain have struggled to get going this world cup, no one has impressed that much and a load of average players will change hands for millions on the back of 5 games of form.

Would be nice to see Fabregas play in the final vs v.Persie, hopefully he'll get fit (and chosen to play for once!)
