I've never been involved in anything like this, could someone explain what it is exactly?

The entrants will all pick a team by random (usually just by numbers) and have 100 posts deducted from their postcount and the one with the winner or runner up etc. get a share of the winnings (3200 posts in total), ok the posts are worthless but it's the taken part that counts right?
