World Cup 2010: Who would make your England squad?

coming from a stoke fan im delighted Ryan Shawcross is finally getting the credit he deserves. Cracking defender and a nice lad only 22. The future is bright for him
 
Look what happens when you play an inexperienced keeper though, Carson...

James will do the job ok, best of a bad bunch tbh. Even Green is dodgy a lot of the time.
 
I wouldn't want Glen Johnson because he is a liability in defence.

I think for a cup competition I'd rather limit the chance of people that will make a crap mistake.

Phil Neville can play right back as well as many others.

I don't think I'd have Downing as a starter, but definitely good cover for the left midfield.

I just wish Joe Cole would get some games and form.

If we had to take a target man I'd rather have him than Heskey and Crouch. AT least Zamora has shown some form this season and is far better at holding up the ball than both of them. He's unproven but I'd love to see him get a try before the World Cup.

GK - Robinson. I really don't know why he has fallen out of favour although I know this comment may get me grief!

LB - Ashley Cole

Centre back: Ferdinand, Terry

Rightback: Don't know, I feel resigned to say 'Neville' (and no, not Phil!) :(

left wing: joe Cole?

Middle of the park: Gerrard and Lampard. They seem to have started playing well together (obviously not as good as club level but close)

Right wing: Not Beckham. Maybe Young.

Forward .. Rooney and Crouch
