I've bet on Nigeria today, but thinking about it I really should have gone for Argentina.

That way, whatever happens, I'll be happy
 
Another good day. Had money on SK win with Son scoring and shots on target for neymar and mitrovic. Just need Switzerland to win now!
 
Under 3 goals, under 3 cards, under 7 corners in each game tonight - 450/1 with William Hill.

Most games have struggled for cards and corners so I'm having a bit of that.
 
Interestingly, these 'choose your odds' markets seem to fluctuate horribly. One guy asked 7 bookies for a price on the Uruguay game: exactly 3 goals, exactly 7 corners, exactly 4 cards. Odds ranged from 20/1 to 50/1.

I've done 2 bets this world cup and think I'll leave it at that.

Russia to qualify (in play, at the end of full time yesterday)
BTTS in Croatia-Denmark game

Any more and I'll likely lose (although tempted to do BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Brazil-Mexico today...)
 
After coming close 3 times (2 should have been wins) I think I'm done betting on the world cup after my weekly £5 free bet from Skybet this week!

1. The guy (Durmas?) that gave Germany Kroos' winning free kick, needed him to be booked and would have won. 125/1
2. France v Argentina needed a red card - pretty sure Mascherano should have been sent off about 3 times. 466/1
3. Needed a Ronaldo header for the Cavani/Ronaldo header double - not too close but I had expected more chances but all Portugal crosses were terrible. 200/1
 
Been playing with a few of the initial offers as I don't normally bet on things, doing OK as things go, ideally need England to win tomorrow, and then both France or England winning the final will pay out, England a little more lucratively (gotta support England though!).

Put in less than £100 total over 6 different places, if England win tomorrow then I should come out with at least £100 profit, more if England actually win. Got some Quidco initial signup offers as well. May have done better if I started earlier but I only bet anything from the quarter finals onward.

Not great sums of money, but it's been pretty risk free as I've been hedging my bets, I even get some money if Croatia somehow win it as the odds are better. Will hopefully withdraw all the money at the end of the WC :)
 
Just logged into my William Hill account and there's a free bet for £19.06.. random amount, haven't used it for a week or so, wonder what that's for.
 
Yeah, I haven't done anything for about a week though. I had Spain to win (£5 free every time they won, which was.. once) and Aspas to be top scorer (again, £5 free each time he scored which was.. once).

I'm not complaining though. I've stuck it on a draw @ HT, over 1 card each team and over 2 corners each team @ 5/1.
