World Cup Group B (England, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, Sweden) **SPOILERS**

defensively we were poor at set plays and high balls into the box. robinson seemed to not come for as many balls i would have preferred (the 2nd goal for a start).

still, were into the 2nd round playing the team we would like.

Also, very happy with hargreaves, very very good game, should have shut a few haters up (including me!).

Gerrard goal calm us down despite the late goal from Sweden. Cambell didn't do well,should head the ball out easily but ....
 
What is it with the sweeds? I really thought we beat em' when Gerrard scored...

This is so frustrating. I guess at least England are through, but we have a VERY tough road ahead if we can't even beat Sweden.
 
Joe Cole. Englands player of the World Cup for me upto now. Really maturing into a very good international player. DESPITE playing out of position.

Owen Hargreaves got through an awful lot of work tonight in midfield

Beckham doesnt seem to have the legs for it anymore

Other than that Englands through toping the group so it isnt all bad
 
I have never known a bigger pack of whingers in my life , yes we may not be not be playing well but we haven't lost a game and won the group !!

Try supporting them for a change instead of the pointless slagging.
 
What a pity. We have to win despite svens best efforts to hinder us. I don't think its possible to get much further.

This was the perfect game to blood walcott. If he doesnt wanna play walcott he may as well have taken dafoe. Atleast dafoe wouldve been a direct replacement for owen.

Now we get to look forward to 4-5-1 with rooney starting (hopefully) and then crouch for the last 20 minutes. That wont win us anything. We are still relying to much on the long ball when crouch is on the field. That and long range shooting. The gaps between defence and midfield where huge.

I just wish half of them played with the passion of rooney. I no longer see us getting much further than the next game.

Very worrying that Rio went off, Sol is a liability & Carragher can't cover at CB whilst Less Ugly is injured. It seems we only get injuries where we can't afford them:(

I am but kidding. TBH Sol was at fault. He's simply not fit, well match fit, well world cup match fit. It really annoys me with injuries when you look at teams like brazil who have none whatsoever.

I really don't understand about 75% of your posts, I don't know if it's a kind of trolling or you don't know much about the game or what. Your edgy style is lost on me, sorry.
