World Cup Group F (Australia, Brazil, Croatia, Japan) **SPOILERS**

Not the greatest match though I was dissapointed we did not get a draw out of the game, but hey, the team played well and can't be faulted for their effort.

Bring on the Japanese and the Aussies. :D Let them tremble infront of the 'Vatreni' :cool: who were awesome imho. Can't wait.

Btw, found Motson to be really irritating (no surprise there). Has he always been like this or is he just getting worse with age?

And so much for his facts and player spotting. For the record the two Leko's in our squad are not brothers. And at certain parts of the game Motson gave the impression our central defender was playing attacking midfield. :confused: Sort it out Motty!
 
I thought the france game was uninteresting and then I sat through this one. I know its early in the competition plus my expectations (like a lot of peoples I suppose) where high. No doubting their class though.
 
So after all the teams in Group F have played how do you think the table will be after all the games have played?

Australia
Croatia
Brazil
Japan

Nah, Australia will definitely go through, i've even put money on it. I'm also backing an upset in the Aus/Brazil match, last nights Brazil was a poor showing for a champion side.

But they still won against a very organised Croatian team. Brazil will go through because they've now already played what will be their toughest game and got 3 points. Croatia will beat Japan and Australia. Both of them will go through with Australia in 3rd place.

Not sure. From what I saw, Brazil and Croatia will both batter them. Australia took 80 mins to score against a very average side, I can't see them getting much change out of the other two. They're too used to playing Tonka and the Fuji Islands imo.

I was exasperated about how long it took Australia to score against Japan, but they were all over the Japanese defence (in the first half especially), they just couldn't seem to get that final yard and put the ball away, if they can play like that again and sort out their finishing I don't see why they can't go through from their next two games.
