Hehe nice little earner i got from that match, was thinking that i made a mistake when i laid off Japan therefore giving me a nice return on an aussie win or draw. Luckily the aussies came good, won the game and netted me decent cash....now what could i possibly buy for £2.5k???:D:D

Late to the party, but I was watching that game on the edge of my seat, and the last 10 mins, wow!
I don't care what anyone else says, that first Japanese goal was not deserved, you could clearly see the momentum of Fukunishi pushing Schwarzer away from the ball. Not giving them the penalty is just karma.

Having won this game now I can really see us getting through to the next round. Go Socceroos! :D

So not having a deserved pen awarded against you, crying about a perfectly good goal, having a guy that should've been sent off getting the winning goal and then gloating about how the match went?

The first 10 minutes were good then the socceroos played like **** when they kept slowing the ball down in the midfield and were hanging around the goal square. Then the last 10 minutes they played a running game and they went good again.

Someone needs to buy the Japanese team a swimming pool. They could make an Olympic diving team :rolleyes:
And there coach was bad mouthing Australia for the past week for playing dirty :rolleyes:

The Japanese played a more efficiant game and they played a better style of attacking due to running more and not messing about in front of goals. They just broke through the defence and made it a much better way of playing then what the Australians did.

And that ref is bloody blind. I felt like jumping in the the plasma and punching him out :mad:

Overall IMO it was a crap game untill the socceroos started to play a more looser style and not bring in every japanese player into the box when they where shooting for goal

But well done on changing there style of play and winning there game :) .

Fast moving is fine :) We play a faster game than you anyway. It was the terminology I was pointing out.

Schwarzer was never pushed. He ran straight under the ball. However, Japan should have had a penalty.

What angle did you see it at? he was in the air and the little Japanese man run right underneath him pushing him out the way, wasnt even going for the ball.
And damm straight you probably play a faster game then us, dear god some of the tarting around they did made me want to scream :mad:

And do the japanese plays have shins of cheese or something? :p

The little Japanese man was pushed by an aussie defender and by the time Schwarzer ran into him he was already too far under the ball to collect it...
