3 months for me *cries*
*Exactly*, always some other poor bugger in a worse place
3 months for me *cries*
Mine just arrived Box is a little dirty but not dented or damaged really so hopefully we're good
Regarding brightness, though I'd do a quick video showing what it's like with sunshine coming in through a window and the AR coating doing its thing with my set of brightness/contrast values to get to around 100 nits for normal usage. Keep in mind when watching or playing HDR stuff, the brightness you set in the OSD is discarded anyway as HDR controls that during HDR playback.
yeah yeah....

Great video showing that though, exactly my thoughts too and is probably what has impressed me the most aside from the oled usual pros., so much, that I can keep the blind open somewhat now even on a sunny day where as with last monitor, the black out blind had to be closed entirely.
I just had an email from Dell support, they have ordered me a new monitor and it will ship tomorrow! No mention of collecting the old one though so I imagine that will happen at a later date.
I am chilled!Guys chill, am sure they'll get to you all in good time.
Haha. Yea not a huge deal, at least I should have it in the next day or two hopefully.
Honestly having used this in Creator mode with sRGB enabled and gamma 2.4, I would not worry about colour accuracy as to my eyes (and HDTV Test's spectrometer!), this mode is very accurate. I'm in no rush to go calibrate again so even if the i1Display Pro's correction profile takes a year for someone to create and upload, then I don't mind purely because what I am seeing feels accurate to me and all my edited photos that were produced on the IPS which was calibrated, look the same on this, so that is assurance enough for me. My only question now is how much, if at all, does QD-OLED deviate over time which may or may not require calibration from what it comes with at the factory calibration. Only time will tell.

(And before someone mentions the recently viewed ebay wedding dresses, they were searches for a photo shoot I'm planning )
So weird. They did not want to help whitestar and but him at the back of the line, yet you get one tomorrow, maybe even before mine arrives

Wow, they really are inconsistent!
@whitestar85 has his turn up with the film peeling and completely dead (although he's since temporarily fixed it) and gets told his replacement won't come till August.
Yours is completely usable except for a couple of marks on the screen and they send one out tomorrow?!
Might be worth having the old one ready for collection - the driver might be expecting to do a swap

It’s good to know no point bothering with calibration

- You are to have the part boxed and ready for collection. Use the original box the new part arrived in and do not remove any labels. Seal the box and make the box available at the collection point at your address.
- The collection agent will arrive with the return label and on successful collection of the part a receipt is left as proof of collection.
- Self-returns label – customer to arrange returns:
- A returns label and return instructions attached to the box of each returnable part.
- Customer to arrange collection within 10 working days as per return instructions.
- The detailed process for the return of service parts can be found on the Dell website at In Services Parts Return.
- In case of absence, unavailability or if we fail to reach you in spite of several attempts, this service event could be postponed or cancelled. If you need further help, please contact your local Dell Technical Support. Support phone numbers can be found at http://support.euro.dell.com.
- In the case we have an incident delaying our response, you will be contacted by our maintenance partner who will keep you informed on the day of service delivery.
I assume they code the replacement with the same service tag then? Otherwise you have the original box which has a different service tag to the actual screen
Process return for first more expensive order, send back knackered one, "oops, I got confused and accidentally returned the wrong one"
