Has there been a World In Conflict BETA before? Looks like they was.

Ah it was a closed beta, looks like this game has been in development for a long time which should mean its gonna run sweet awsome on our rigs

I'm thinking I must have missed something here, I found this game to be really boring. It sure looks pretty but for me it was like playing a poor version of company of heroes.

How come you guys are so keen on it?

This game is DirectX 10 right guys? Or have I mistaked it for something else.

the open beta is dx10, the closed beta was dx9 only.

ITs actually both, In the last closed beta all the DX10 options were there but were greyed out. I dont know if this release will include DX10 content......

I was lucky to get both Closed Alpha and beta keys and its obvious that between tose 2 they learned a lot, listened to the community and changed things.

It is a great game and has a great element of teamwork arond the online play. Graphics, units and gameplay all rock.

Possible, i wouldn't be surprised if todays delay is due to the lack of a driver from nvidia to allow the game to work in dx10 as has been the case with both COH and lost planet so far.

You will be able to downscale to DX9 anyways and it still looks great!
