World of Warcraft - Blizzcon 2011

Went to the '09 one and it was fantastic, great atmosphere with the Cataclysm announcement etc. As with any live event the stream isnt quite the same as being there.
That said, given the cost, travel and endless queues there are some advantages to watching at home :)

With the distance you have to combine it with a full holiday too as we did tbh.
 
I'd love to watch some of Blizzcon, SC, Diablo and Warcraft are some of the best times I've had gaming.

I don't want to poo on yours or anyone elses decision to buy it, I hope you enjoy it :). But for me, £24.99 for some streams and an in-game pet? That's obscene, I'd even say disgusting.

Sure it costs them a lot of money to put an event like this on, but it gets a hell of a lot of publicity in the gaming media and keeps the fans sweet. Maybe £4.99 for server / streaming costs? Fair enough, £25? Kiss my nuts Blizz.

Well todays the day! I got my Murkablo pet in the post, my fridge is stocked with America soda, my candy supplies are ready and in a few hours I'll be going out to get a couple of pizzas from Dominos.

Bring it on Blizzard! :D
 
Hmm its tomorrow right? Shame we have to pay to watch it online now :/ I'm anticipating an official announcement of the next warcraft expansion, a starcraft 2 heart of the swarm in depth look, and the opening cinematic of diablo 3 plus official release date.

Its a two day event. Today and tomorrow. It kicks off at 6pm UK time.
 
I'd like:

- Something actually FRESH for WoW, not just another £25 addon pack with new races and/or another class for Blizzard to attempt to balance into the game and fail miserably.
- Some tidbits about Heart of the Swarm, maybe even a tentative release date?
- Same again for Diablo 3.

Absolutely NO chance of me paying £25 for a stream, mind. :p
