World of Warcraft - Blizzcon 2011

If I bought an annual pass in the 15 mins before the expansion was announced I would be pretty annoyed

Emerald dream would have been 100000000X better

I have one issue with the Annual pass thing - you get the free copy of Diablo 3 once you pay for the 12 months, however there is no single payment option for the 12 months. The biggest chunks you get are 6 month subs, so if you pay for one now, the other payment will be due in April at which point D3 will potentially be out for a couple of months.

EDIT: Latex, you get a free copy of Diablo 3 IF you sign up for the annual pass on WoW AND only after you have paid for the 12 months (so assuming you do two 6 month subs, you'll get the game end of April earliest).

I would have thought a new option would be available... If I was going to buy the annual pass I would wait a day or two to see if an actual annual pass shows up.

They did say you could start playing it as soon as it was released thus your method of buying 2x 6 months is probably wrong.

Think you are understanding it wrong, the impression i'm getting is you sign up for this annual pass and thats it, you're basically commiting to paying for 12 months of WoW without the ability to cancel until the 12 months is up.

You get D3 whenever its out and once the 12 months is up it's entirely yours as if you bought it directly from the bnet store.

Bit of a joke that :p Blizzard, your events are not £25 better then E3.

£25 is a fair bit, which is why I didn't purchase it.

However, the extra's you get somewhat subsidise it, if you're into that sort of thing (in game pet etc).

I didn't know there was a free initial stream for the beginning!
