World of Warcraft: Classic

Really most people won't be able to sustain a main, let alone a main/alt and possibly a toon with the other faction.

In classic you also cannot have a horde and ally toon on the same sever which further complicates things.

IMO it's best we decide a faction and stick with it.

You underestimate my addiction to the original WoW :p

Why human for racials? Surely undead is the way to go?

For PvE, which is my main focus.

For rogues combat swords is overwhelmingly the best spec through 95% of the game for raiding, humans get sword specialisation which grants them expertise when wielding swords, expertise is often under looked but is a ridiculously powerful stat for the likes of rogues or fury warriors.

If you want to PvP retadins are fantastic, if you intend to do end game PvE content good luck finding a guild that will take that sort of thing.

Yeh - I stuck with my retri pally since launch - still have him today.

With wow though I think I’ll have to roll fury warrior and be done with it

Fury wars are amazing fun, very strong DPS through every tier of vanilla PvE also, although a bit of a pain to gear when starting off.

Don't make the mistake a buddy of mine did once many moons ago and sell a pair of Edgemasters if you're lucky enough to see them drop!

Still remember just how not fun leveling a warrior was in vanilla. Arcanite Realer sure was fun though once I had one made!

Never really played Horde so think it only makes sense to re-roll as that if I was to return.

Are paladins going to be in classic? I thought they were a burning crusade addition.
For horde they were added in TBC, alliance had them from day one.

In vanilla they were viewed as being unviable at anything but healing in PvE, but I doubt that these days, unless you guild is min/maxing, that if you're competent that you shouldn't be able to get a spot.

Exactly, you just need to choose your gear carefully, im not that interested in raiding anyway, its a bit too time consuming for me.

Surely they're not making the servers like that though this time round? That would be a bit of a step back.

As with other things theyve kept some slight improvements to the overall experience.
PvP servers only will have this restriction to try and avoid collusion, but I would imagine it's fairly ineffective if people are really that bothered about it, they would just have a second account to get round it.
