***World of Warcraft : Legion***

To have two max levels chars and order hall quests done....you must've been playing a lot.

I still don't get this burning need to complete everything ASAP. Especially with the length and lack of content in last expansion.

Actually no i haven't. Got a 10 month old son that needs constant care so i only have a few hours every night to relax in and they are never fully devoted to WoW. Sometimes i may be able to squeeze in half and hour to an hour during the day if he is sleeping.

If I was single I'd have had an extra week off work / be as geared as I possibly could be pre-raid.
With Alch alt levelling / levelled to make flasks.

But I have a wife, so still doing Suramar / getting geared. :p

Im also still during suramar on my shammy got about 3 chapters done out of the 11!!!! there is. The warrior although better geared(ive been lucky with world quest rewards) is still at the very beginning of that zone. Cant be bothered really.

Anyone have a good place that can help out a very casual player, into a decent DPS player for dungeons etc?

My problem being, I never know what armour I should aim for when in dungeons, so just end up passing on most things. Also I know certain combination of spells can work well together, but I haven't much clue to what those are.

I mainly run quests because of this and pretty much avoid guilds, since I wouldn't do anything with them. It would be nice to be a better player and more active roles. I've only just discovered the joy of key binding :o

So, anyone have sources I can read through?

Thanks!

Have a read through the appropriate section for whichever class / spec you play. Will tell you what spells to use, what priority for them and which stats you want :)

I've hit 110 with my druid that was my starter character when WoW was first released all those years ago. Just doing some other quests now but I have no interest in raids or dungeons. I tried years ago and had some crappy experiences with groups so never bothered again. I'll probably go on to level my rogue or monk before I sack it again for a while.
So you've been playing since Vanilla & you haven't done any dungeons/raids?

Why would you let others stop you doing activities in a game? Yes there are a lot of plebs online these days who'll give you stick if you mess up, but on the other hand at least watch a video or read tactics if you're one of those who wipes a dungeon/raid because you don't know what you're doing.

Yeah it's the only way to even experience some of the community these days. Obviously was much better Vanilla through to Wrath but guilds still hold a bit of a community atm.

Anyone else running MM hunter? If so how have you found it in dungeons with Barrage pulling random stuff? Does it get you kicked? Have only done one dungeon so far as part of leveling. Just wondered what it's like when in heroics etc

Playing MM in heroics atm.

Just take care on your positioning. They narrowed the cone quite a bit but the animation still looks like it goes miles wide.

You may get the odd random yellow non-hostile mob join a fight but that's what Feign Death and Misdirect are for.

i find best thing is to run just past the fight and barrage backwards

This.

It's all about positioning. Get further back so the mobs you want to hit are just in range of barrage and you won't hit anything else further, or get right up to the mob(s) and 'aim' your character towards a previously cleared or empty area, and there shouldn't be any stray shots (other than the actual animation).

Jut keep an eye out for any mobs that may be flying overhead out of camera view however.

EDIT: The same also goes for Sidewinders. The closer you are to the mob, the less the two shots will 'spread' as they dance towards the target.

I mained MM in MoP. Got into the Legion beta and utterly loathed the new MM.

I dislike how the pet is close to useless, how just about all utility has been stripped from the class, and I think the whole "wait for a proc to allow you to proc so you can do damage" is clunky and unrewarding. I miss the punch of things like chimera shot.

I'm struggling to find one nice thing to say about it. Even the class hall is just a hut in Highmountain. I mean wut?

I moved to Enhancement and not looked back. Absolutely epic spec.

I play hunter on alliance side. Anyone that wants to know any info regarding hunter are free to add me on battle net and we can chat.

Battle net id - Life#2565.

I have enjoyed hunter so far this expansion. Played both BM and MM specs pretty often and enjoy them both. I haven't played SV at all, purely down to the fact that I play hunter to be range and not melee. So pointless spec for me personally.
