Along the top, there should be several menus, one will be options, or have options in it somewhere. In there, you will be able to disable the peer 2 peer downloading, so it just uses a regular http download instead, which should prevent the error.

Sorry I can't be more specific regarding where it's located though :p

Yea basically the Blizzard downloader uses a combination of P2P downloading and Direct Downloading. Bitorrent and Blizzard downloader (when using P2P) and very similar and so this can cause issues with ports etc. If you do what iviv said and disable P2P downloading this should resolve your issues.

Hope this helps.

If your just using Microsoft security and Firewall, there isn't a need as far as I understand, this could actually be causing the problem.

Hope you get it sorted.

Well im just downloading the patch which ThundyCat provided, its at 40% now

What should i done once i have extracted the file?

Copy the files to where the blizzard downloader was saving them?

I believe thats what my router calls port forwarding?

Correct, Virtual server is Belkin'd name for port forwarding.

As for where you need to extract, I'm not sure, it depends what's in the rar file! I assume it will be:
WoW-3.3.0.10958-4.0.0.12911-EU-Stage-1, 2 and 3
Installer Tome.MPQ
WoW-x.x.x.x-4.0.0.12911-Updater.exe
and the folder: WoW-x.x.x.x-4.0.0.12911-Updater.app

If it is, just copy all of those files into the update folder. The blizzard downloader may have created a couple of those already, so overwrite. Then just run the launcher as usual, and it should check all the files and start the patch.

My Folder only contains

WoW-3.3.0.10958-4.0.0.12911-EU-Stage-1, 2 and 3

and

WoW-x.x.x.x-4.0.0.12911-Updater.exe

do i need Installer Tome.MPQ and the folder: WoW-x.x.x.x-4.0.0.12911-Updater.app??
