The Madison was a great race and good to see Wiggins and Cav roll back the years together. It seems like a good opportunity for Cav to gracefully bow out of the track at the world/Olympic level - a world champion in an event which atones somewhat for Beijing 2008.
Hopefully this doesn't drag on all year. I'd like to see Cav focus on the Giro and then build up for the Worlds RR later in the year. Dibben will have to get the nod for the omnium at Rio.
It's not an easy call either way. It certainly seems like Cav is more motivated for the track atm, his omnium performance wasn't bad by any means but I guess it comes down to whether they think he can improve enough in the time available.
