World War 3 - large-scale modern combat Tactical Shooter with late 2018 release targeted.

Free playtest this weekend, sound needs work but gunplay is really good.
Already better than the last few BF games, serious potential.
 
Been playing it a lot over the last few weeks. Very promising game, plays kinda like BF3/4, before BF started going massively wrong.
I've stopped playing at the moment partly due to the free weekend and partly because I think I'm want to wait till Open Beta now. I'm sold on it, and dont want to waste too much time unlocking thinkgs for it to be wiped on Open Beta release. Looking forward to some new maps.
 
Its only a free playtest weekend 30th-2nd. They are stress testing the game/servers. They did this earlier in the year which led to a delay in release of the F2P Open Beta test. It will be F2P when the open beta releases/full release. Expect plenty of Micro-Transactions and to pay for season/battle passes though.
Hopefully this weekend has gone well for them and the Open Beta releases sonner rather than later.
If you want to play after the Free Playtest ends you will have to pay for one of the early access CBT passes.

I'll need to fire this up and see how it's playing now.
Any new maps yet? The limited number in the closed beta was making it feel quite stale very quick, especially when you ended up playing the same map over and over.
I gave up previously as I was waiting for the open beta to arrive, didn't see the point of progressing when I would eventually lose it all.

Considering i bought this earlier this year, played about 15 hours and not picked it back up since, very buggy and the playerbase just isnt there.
Good thought, quite a shoddy delivery though. much better and similar games out there, to me I dont know what this bought to the market that Insurgency didnt.
Not surprised re-launches as free to play, sucks for anyone whos bought it.

It was always going F2P as far as I was aware, those who bought it got early access.. same with the likes of Lost Ark etc.

Oh right im sure i waited a few mins and gave up but will try again, almost bought it last week when it was reduced then spotted on HUKD it was free :)

580 in queue this time at 21:13 lets see how long it takes :)
