Worst game you have played?

About half the games in this thread I really liked, and one (Thief 3) is in my favourite games I've ever played list.

Most disappointing game i played recently would probably be forza 4, simply because it was Forza 3 with a tiny bit of polish and a couple of new cars/tracks. There was so little change that it felt like I had paid ~£50 for Forza 3 again.

Since I got that sniper ghost warrior thing from the green man gaming games giveaway i guess i'll put that forward for worst game ever. played a little bit and got thoroughly bored

Duke Nukem Forever.......took me forever to get to work without crashing every 5 minutes, then after that the game was poo....worst £30 I ever spent.

Biggest disappointment
Deus Ex - Invisible War

Worst game ever
Deus Ex - Invisible War

See I thought the game was pretty disappointing too. I was told to put it down to I don't play games of that type so I'm going to hold onto it and then play it with someone who plays this kind of game to guide me through it.

Heavy Rain without a doubt. It is everything I hate about games rolled in to one.

PS. It is inevitable that good games are being mentioned. I for one, only play games that look good to me...The truly worst games ever made, I would not even consider playing

This thread tells me that lots of people have only been playing games a few years. :o Go back to the early 90s and beyond and look at some attempts at games.
or that they've been playing that long but just have a terrible memory :p

I'm not old enough to have played early 90s games, but i definitely played the late 90s and early 00s games and I cant remember any of the dreadful stuff, just the games i really liked back then.

I have to say worst game i ever played was;

Hogs of War!!

I LOVED Hogs of War! Sure it was a bit glitchy here and there, but Worms in 3d (before worms 3D) with Rik Mayall was always gonna be a win-win for me :P

My suggestions would have to be:

"Ace Combat" (I had on PS1) - dire in terms of graphics, glitches, bad voice-overs, boring missions and terrible flight mechanics.

MDK (also had on PS1) - I just hated everything about it, no idea why it was so popular.

I've never had a really bad PC game that I can recall, but I am VERY choosy about which ones I buy :P

Rise of the Robots anyone?

I also hated Rigles Revenge on the Spectrum. I was 7 when that came out and could get past the first screen. :(

Ah yes, I also loved this. I remember one of my mates bought it and I thought, why! But we often used to play it before heading to the pub on a Friday night and always had a great laugh, good times!

Well I looked through all 3 pages with search, and was amazed to not see:

Alone in the Dark - I know it's an xbox game, but still.. deserves to be here.

If God was able to refund 10 minutes, I'd ask for it back :D

there are plenty of games that have disappointed me but they were still average (too many to even list); however heavy rain was terrible. clunky gameplay I didn't even want to play it. Flow and Flowers was rubbish as well. immediate uninstall after 5min
