Worst game you have played?

I thought it was underrated tbh. Doesn't do a bad job at all of getting the atmosphere and general feel of the world across imo. The controls could retained be enter, and it needs more optimistic n's, bit it has potential... A sequel could be very good if they learnt from their mistakes.

I only gave Game of Thrones about an hour or so before I quit to be fair. Story is definitely meant to be a strong point but the main character's voice acting is so poor it's a huge disappointment. Everybody sounds like they were recorded in a studio (which obviously is the case, but there's no attempt to even mask that so no voice placement in cut scenes and very little atmospheric backing/filtering) which I found a total immersion breaker. Those who are in the tv show and a couple of others seemed to be acted very well, but when such a vocal protagonist is voiced so poorly I just couldn't help but get completely thrown out of the experience any time combat happened or any time a cutscene came up.

This thread seems to be more of, I don't like this game cause its bad, but rather I'm bad at it. Far too many good games being labeled as bad...

As for games I didn't like, Dragon Age 2, the game is the definition of a rush job.

Nah, you're just rubbish at it. ;)

Recently Borderlands. Or rather, Boringlands.

Bought into the hype and me and my mate bought it on the PS3 to play co-op. It's basically the WoW of FPS games with boring endless grinding and samey missions. I have no idea why people like it so much, it feels like a game specifically tailored for Asians.

Everything about this post is Troll, I hope.

Is it even possible to be bad at a single player game?

It's almost as though hating popular games has become the 'popular' thing to do now.

And on that note, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Resident Evil 6?

Maybe some of you should try these games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_games_notable_for_negative_reception#2010s

(or these): http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/year/all?view=detailed&sort=desc&page=9

Especially Mindjack (so bad) and Ridge Racer on Vita was just an absolute rip off.

Also people mentioning Sleeping Dogs in the same league as The War Z, frankly, is quite disgusting. Yes, Sleeping Dogs was a bit of a button masher, but the story was pretty good, as was the setting/graphics and fighting (the only game where I've found block to be useful). However, The War Z was just awful. I picked it up in the summer sale expecting it to be a bit better now they've had time to sort it out. But oh my was I wrong. It takes more than 5 hits with a katana to kill 1 zombie. DayZ is light years ahead.

Not a PC game but I'd like to chuck in angry birds, surely I'm not the only person in the world who found this massively over hyped game to be average at very best.

I can agree with this, I spent a whole 5 minutes on it, the wife spent months:rolleyes:

I didn't like Borderlands, was a poor FPS and a lame RPG - failed on both fronts. played for an hour then stopped. I guess the kids like it because of the language and the cartoon style.

Did you play it by yourself or with friends? I hated it playing by myself but it was quite fun with 3 friends.

Painkiller Resurrection - buggy, ugly and broken
Osmos - a complete waste of time
Hammerfight - interesting concept, terrible execution.
Prince of Persia, Forgotten Sands - buggy, boring and flogging a dead horse

Is that one of those indie games that was on offer recently? I thought it looked all right (from the videos); I'll have to check it out.

Edit : maybe I thinking of another title that sounded similar.
