I know right, how will they make any money?
I hope they won't make any at all, and I hope someone points out to them just how stupid this idea is.
Thankfully on Kickstarter, I don't think you don't get any of the money unless you reach your goal. (I may be mistaken?)
Ignoring all of the other obvious flaws such as people who ride as passengers, people who take buses, trains, planes, and so on, why can't you text for 10 minutes after you stop?
Quite often if I'm not in a hurry and I feel my phone buzz a few times in my pocket, I pull over to see what the commotion is, and might reply to a text or two, even if it is just to say "I'll give you a ring when I get home".
They also say it will be in a phones firmware, which suggests that they expect phone hardware/OS manufacturers to implement this?
And it means GPS always has to be on? I don't need to point out all of the issues surrounding that alone (privacy, battery life, and so on)
