Worth swapping my 3900x for a 5900x?

Not really bottlenecked here on a 3900xt, so will wait for AM5 tbh.

If I can score a 6700xt at close to MSRP and resell the 5700xt & vega56 then might do it, but seems like hassle.

I sold my Vega 56 last month and it paid for my 6700xt and it was easy ;)
 
I "was" going to buy a 5900x back before the madness. Wondering now if I should just wait for the next gen. Any idea when this might be?
 
I just did this upgrade today. 3900x is no slouch but after an hours gaming this evening CODMW seems to be snappier. Maybe not worth it tbh but for me this system will (hopefully) be my last upgrade until AM5 and DDR5 mature so needs to last a good couple of years.

to be honest you might get 4-5 years from it
