For everyday use, I would say no. Only time you notice the difference in speeds are in benchmarks.

Depends what you use as your daily programs, load times on Adobe Lightroom are quicker with a m.2 over a ssd but for gaming and every day usage the difference isn't something you'd see in load times.

Interesting you mention lightroom as i have been thinking this exact thing (ssd to m2) for my lightroom workflow. At the moment i import my photos to SSD for main editing and then archive to HDD when done.

I dont use lightroom a lot, any other programs that can make use of M.2 ?
