Would you complain or my own fault?

I wasn’t expecting anything to be open Easter Sunday but maybe they will be.
Any pizza day is a good day so enjoy (unless you're keeping the curry to be a bit more out of date before eating?)

I'd have it fur Christmas dinner if I could.

Is nobody else concerned that the OPs food for today and Easter Sunday is a microwave meal and a naff looking pizza?

No.

Looks like it's a pizza express pizza. Will probably be quite nice.

Looks perfect to me. If there is one thing I can't stand more than almost anything that existence entails, it's cooking and cleaning it all up afterwards.

Leave it long enough and it'll have a lovely alcoholic fizz to it to really jazz it up

Used to like orange yogurts and every now and again you would get a fizzy one of them :)

Back to OP though.
Use by tends to be cautious, unless its be mis-stored (it happens) then its basically guaranteed to be good at that date.
Once you move past that date a good reckoner is 10-20%. So if the item has a shelf life of 10 days then 1-2 days should be fine the vast majority of the time.

Also, use by is a little different if your cooking something. As long as the cooking achieves a hot temperature (like steaming hot) then the vast majority of nasties will also be killed off.
But not all.

I never go by the dates on food. Always the sniff test. I have used milk today that had a "expiry" date of the 18th but smelt, and subsequently tasted, fine.

Storing bread in the fridge and its still good a week after the "best before date". After that, it gets a bit harder so good for toast ;)
