Would you date a pregnant girl?

This tbh. Until you've experienced it, you can't possibly begin to understand what post-birth relationships are like. Emotional, exhausting and damn hard work. A relationship has to be very strong to survive that

I could not be in a relationship with someone who is pregnant, My family would be ****ed off. When my girlfriend was pregnant she was a monster!, the amount of times I wanted to drop kick her.

I would say been with a pregnant woman is like a downward spiral with loads of upset to come. The amount of situations you can be put into is just not worth it.

At least the young lady didn't tell OP, I mean, his friend, that she's pregnant and let him think 'it' is his. I'm sure she could explain away the ten weeks difference later on.

Why not? As long as they're able to set a precedent where they are dating the girl, and not the pregnancy and future child situation, I don't see why it would be a problem.

What I mean is, if they can agree that the pregnancy should be separate to the relationship (Difficult as I realise that would be), then there's little reason it couldn't be a normal relationship. I fail to see why he should just abandon ship from what could end up being the perfect girl for him. Just try it out and see how it goes, he's not stuck for the next 30 years, it's not his kid!

You mean apart from the fact that they won't really be able to "date" normally anyway?

She'll be limited in what she can actually do (no drinking, no strenuous activities etc.).

After the baby is born, he may as well write off any kind of relationship whatsoever (unless he fancies playing dad).

That's not to mention that (call me old-fashioned if you want) the fact she's gotten herself pregnant outside of a stable relationship doesn't exactly show she's got particularly high standards - is that what the guy wants?
 
A girl who has had an unplanned child like that most likely does not fit my criteria for a suitable mate. Although i would not rule it out, it would depend on the girl and circumstances. I would not be too keen on the dynamic of raising someone else child and the real father being in the picture.

But then once that fades, your stuck with a horrifically hormonal women who will just end up p'ing you off, that will bite your head off in an instant (even though its not your fault she is preggers) and will end up consuming more food.

On the face of it I'd agree, except that it is still possible for a girl on the pill that uses a condom to do the no pants dance just once, to fall pregnant. Hardly seems fair to label her "Used goods" and throw her out the back now does it :p?
