Would you go crazy on computer stuff if you won the lottery?

I guess I would cos a stunning pc would cost peanuts if you win a few mill. If you busted it building it or what ever, so what. But I guess not caring about stuff, you would become a not very nice person:confused::eek:

Most Simplistic Thread and OP Of The Year Award 2010.

Personally I would probably turn into a bit (more) of a barsteward. :p

When I win I'll be building up a gigabit network to every room in the new house with a htpc'ish rig at the end of each cable, and probably a 25Tb+ server to hang it all off, so that'll take care of the loose change, lol!

No

don't see the point in spending 10k on a base unit as it will be out of date next year or even in a months time :p

I wouldn't spend no more than 1.5k on the hardware istelf

but for watercooling, could take up about £300

plus painting/powderer painting the case and bradring etc might come to say £150 going by the modding services of a competitor (guess)

No, I'd build an engineering lab. I'd then perish in a predictable accident in said lab, probably involving electrocution but maybe an explosion.

I've always fancied buying one of those £10,000 "monster" PCs that you see reviewed in magazines like Custom PC if I won a few million on the lottery, along with a nice 30" Dell monitor...

... for every room in the new mansion, of course! ;)

No I wouldn't, I'd be much more interested in buying a house and my perfect 3 car garage...
