Would you pay 19k for this???

its still a clio!!! I bet they are great fun tho! and as far as clio's go there aint a better looking one!
but 19k second hand renault clio. dosent sound so good then does it!

In a Clio V6 255 !!! Madness!

I wouldn't pay £19k for a V6, but there are people who will cough-up purely for the low-Mileage & investment value.

It's kind of a shame the 255 version has been so popular really, they are incredibly special car's & deserve the 'Pocket SuperCar' title.
 
That's not actually too bad a price. For 12/13k you're going to get a phase 1 V6 which isn't as quick, nor does it handle as well as the phase 2.

Considering they cost around 25-30k new, it's not that unreasonably priced for a midship 3.0l limited edition Clio. Yes you can get 'better' cars for the money, but they're a bit special and bought by enthusiasts only.
 
I wonder if anyone has ever turbocharged one...

Imagine a 400bhp, rear wheel drive, mid engined Clio. I'm not a fan of Clios but that would really be something!

Agreed.
Sure there's bigger, more practical, faster accelerating & B-road munching cars out there for the same price, but that really isn't what the V6 is about.

As for SuperCar comments,
You wouldn't get noticed driving a Focus RS, Evo8, GolfGTI or Scooby along the Monaco strip, in a ClioV6 you would, it fits in with Bentleys, Aston's, Rari's & Porky's, that's what makes it so special.

You sure you're not refering to the Mk1 V6? You can pick them up for around that mark.

The whole Clio snobbery makes me laugh. Going on that thinking, the Escort Cosworth is just a £12k 2nd hand Escort. The Metro 6R4 is just a £30k 2nd hand Metro. Yeah, ok then.
 
It's a shame that they weighed so much.
More of a shame was the photo of the burnt out one, which showed that most of the extra weight was in plastic add on body kit tat.
