Would you rather starve to death or gorge yourself to death?

True. Starvation is one of the worst ways to die. The body attacks itself leaving only the two main centres, the heart and the brain till last. You go blind. The body devours liver, kidney - everything it can to protect the two centres. As stated above, you would die in extreme agony.

Overeating would take ages. You are more likely to puke up too much food.
