WoW Annual Pass

someone said it compares to a mobile contract - 12 months @ £8.99 a month (or quaterly or 6 monthly - what ever ypu pay currently) they throw in diablo 3 (and going by SC2 prices thats £44.99 right there) and the £17 of sparkly flying horsey (again the other boa mounts on the blizz store)

so tke your £107.88 a year subs , and take off the price of the value added goodies , makes wow 6 months paid for 6 mnths free....

got a link for that D3 collectors giving 4 months free?

the entire systme is changing - nothing about the new raids as yet , 6 new dungeons in panda land , and 3 heroic old ones (sm lib and gy) and scholo

think this exp pak is `done` - and should have been released with cata.

Seems like a pretty bad deal unless you are 100% sure you'd be subbing for at least 9 of the next 12 months and be buying the expansion

See I thought this was good but I can't see myself having the time to play both WoW and D3. So I'll just be getting D3.

Where did you get that as a current price? You'd be mad to buy it at that.
Quick google and I found it for £25, with most places wanting £30-35. Even the rip off highstreet shop has it for £33.

You will be lucky to find d3 anywhere online or on the high street on release day for much less than £40. Going by sc2 release day prices at least.

Sounds like a good deal. I am unsubbed right now and was thinking of staying that way for a bit longer. But this deal is tempting me haa.

For people who still actively play WoW, this is a great deal. And they know a lot of avid fans will upgrade to the D3 Collector's Edition, so more money for them. Nothing to lose giving away a free game. Anyone who has never played Diablo and plays WoW, it gives them a new player base for another game. Win-win for Blizzard!

Don't buy on the high street big names then? I got SC2 for under £30 on release retail from a shop.

Obviously you're going to pay the rip off premium prices if you refuse to shop around and buy from places like game.

whilst its not a place of value they also set the RRP - so if places like amazon want to charge under RRP then good for them..... day 1 it`ll be more than£30 im rather sure

The fact of the matter is this:

Diablo 3 on a well known website, right now, is £29.99. If it's £45 or whatever on the Blizzard store, people will STILL buy it at the other website. They can afford to sell it UNDER the RRP...Just because something is RECOMMENDED doesn't mean you have to sell it at that price...
