I just found this on anot[h]er forum and it made me laugh , I don't understand why people are upset about this as i think its perfect timing to make an attack .

WoW funeral attenders slaughtered
Apparently someone died in real life who was an avid WoW player so friends and family were holding somewhat of a funeral ceramony in the area that the deceast liked the most. Well... during it the group Serenity slaughtered all the attendees. It made me giggle a bit the way it was carried out but I could see why some people would be upset by it If you'd like to skip all the intro and stuff just jump to near the end of the video..

I really feel like rolly eyeing both sides here.

edit: Just watched it and just burst out laughing when attack suddenly began to such a soundtrack.

Yea i thoght it was funny ... Then i think about the people standing in line... Taking time to say goodbye to a fellow gamer , Imagin how thay must have felt getting raided like that .

Its a very strange world we live in .

I have never played that game , But i take from the name that WAR is involved , What better way to start a war , If i was on the reciving end of that attack i would be now planning a revenge attack on all the people that took part .

At the end of the day its a game ... But i can't help thinking we have crossed over in to another realm of gaming if it comes down to online funerl's

I have no idea how WOW works, but was there not a safe place they could have done it, like a no killing zone?

But it was quite funny, and a good well planned ambush however bad taste it may have been.

I've only played WoW for a couple of days. There are PvP (player vs player) and PvE (player vs enviroment) - They played on a PvP where anything goes.

Simple answer to that is don't hold a 'funeral' in an online game arena. Funny as **** video imo
 
Must have been in planning for a while, although I do think they were asking for it by having it on a server where you kill each other, and publiscising it was going to happen :p
 
Normally I would have called that raiding guild lamers for doing something like that. The funeral was in a pvp area where they consented to PvP just by being there - In areas like that you've got to expect lame things to happen and you always need to be ready.

Seen it so many times in ultima online, so many decent rpg events gatecrashed by kiddie guilds.
 
How do i get the google player clear so i can read the forum posts?

I play WoW, and i have to admit, that is one nice ambush. Dont think they should have done it, but you have to admire the guile of the, what, 6 people that took them all out????


Still think it was a bit off though.
