WOW Gold ? Cheapest

If buying gold isn't illegal, why have so many accounts been banned because of it

key difference

they have had their software licenses revoked (ie banned)

not taken to court and prosecuted. What they are doing is against the agreement they signed up to, but its not illegal.

Lmfao. Get a life.
The funny thing is I would guess it's the people that buy gold that have "a life" outside the game. They don't have time to spend 4 hours a night and all weekend in front of the PC playing a game doing boring repetative tasks to save up virtual gold. They'd much rather go to the pub or spend time with friends and family in the real world and just pay a relatively small amount of money to allow them to get on with the bit of WoW they actually enjoy, i.e. adventuring and spending time with friends online in the few hours they can dedicate to the game

Its still cheating. The idea is if you want the best mount your meant to put in the time and effort. Oh and casual gamers will not spend their real cash on buying WoW gold if they have any sense. If you have a social life, and only play WoW on occasion, you dont need to buy gold.

I dunno, I can see people that spend hours in game farming for gold would consider it cheating. I can also see how people that don't have that time to spend would rather use cash instead.

In a lot of ways it's no different to paying (tesco?) someone to grow and provide you with your veggies. You could do it yourself but you you'd rather do other stuff with your time and so you're prepared to pay someone else for their time instead.

Like i say, i dunno, i can see both sides of the argument.

Here's why blizz won't ban gold buyers - it KEEPS THEM PLAYING THE GAME.

That's my theory, at least.

Good point, why would you ban a customer that is prepared to spend extra real money to play the game (albeit not with Bliz). Not only is that customer likely to continue to pay the monthly sub goin forward having invested even more cash in a character, they presumably play less so put less of a load on the Bliz infrastructure and services for the same monthly sub...

I wonder what percentage of bots are actually Blizzard owned... lol!

Well, considering they dont even bother removing the bot gold farmers any more, then I guess they are happy with the whole situation.

Richie.

Buy it if you want, dont buy it if you dont want.

Simple really.

2k gold takes a fair few hours to grind for non stop, depending on your class etc.
Say you are a Holy spec priest and you want some gold, gonna take you days and days. Or you can go to work for 2 hours and buy that gold to save your self days of time. Go figure?

Anyway, i never bought any, i had a good top server guild so we did a lot of money runs where people payed (back in the old BWL being brand new days) to get items, and we all split the profits in guild. Got about 400g a week off tht.

Lucky for me i sold my account for £250 quid and i have never looked back :p

I dont mind that people do this, however personally i think its sad.

Ive steadily gained a couple of k gold on my two chars lvl 68,69 and it wasnt remotely difficult, infact i would have had more if i hadnt disenchanted most of the greens i got

If Blizzard was to ban everyone that had purchased gold then they would lose an estimated 35% of its player base (source was an article on the billion dollar MMORPG industry on the BBC website some time ago), thats around 2-3 million people not paying £8.99 a month, theres the reason behind it.
