WoW - how the heck do I get a UI looking this good ?

everyone to thier own really... I'm a BT prot Warrior and I have a relatively simple UI, but even in raids I keep my party frame up... saves me having to mess around repositioning it when I do 5 man etc...

I can't have a cluttered UI - even when I played a Priest many moons ago I preferred to go commando (just one or two mods like Titan and Atlas) and just heal "on the fly".

It's far more challenging that way (no offence intended to any healers).

Plus it means that you don't have to go to the trouble of updating a couple of thousand addons when Blizzard do a big patch.

Grid + Clique = More efficient healing (I find this indispensible where I am with raiding currently - SWP)

And Ace mods F-T-W.

Sorry but you may as well talk another language! ;)

I play an Enhancement Shaman now anyways. So I just need one mod - that shows me what I should be hitting! :D

Haha. You don't even need mods!

Clique enables you to heal with 1 buton click on a raid/party frame making your healing reactions that much faster than selecting your target and pressing a keyboard button. This can also be used to do other things like cleansing and so on - Combined with custom macros it's a powerful healing tool.

I'd post my current raid set up but i'm at work... (i'll see if I can find an image on my guild forums)

edit:UI Pic

This is an old one, but it hasn't changed much. Currently thinking of removing the standard Blizzard bars, I don't need them thanks to clique.

This is mine, although be aware that the Bossmod timers are not where they're meant to be, and the main tank bars to the left are just thrown in as someone told me to get them between that attempt and the previous one. I removed them again, waste of time.

Lol why? It's a shadow priests UI. He/she needs to keep an eye on his/her party members' mana. I like to keep mine up anyway so I can see if other healers in my group are casting heals and where to etc.
There are mana bars on the raid frames and much more effective ways to see incoming heals on everyone in the raid ;)

A UI that looks good for one person may be disliked by another person...each to their own.

UI tweaking takes a while to get it to look/feel/operate the way you like it.

As other people mentioned...try Curse-gaming for UI packs if you're lazy...but with these UI packs, you'll see what add-ons they use and identify what you like so you can filter out the excessive crap.

Goodluck on your UI journey!

not good UI at all, i've seen way better :p but as i've stopped Wow for a long time i can't really help

If it makes you guys feel any better (or disgusted at me) i use the original UI, with Omen and DBM and Ora2. That's it...

Seems to have worked so far, got up to Sunwell with no problems as a Shadow Priest :)

I use recount, omen, xperl, clique and ora2. I'm a healadin and my guild is in SWP (Working on Brutallus atm).

The posted UI does seem to be massively cluttered, mine is probably worse though as I like huge raid frames so I can cram more info there. As long as I can see the ground where I'm standing (gotta watch out for fire ;)) then I don't care how much else of the screen is taken up.

Each to their own though.
