WoW info from the WWI this weekend

Guys don't forget Titan Grip for Warriors was supposed to be in TBC then it got taken out near release, don't be surprised if it doesn't make an appearance in Lich King. I remember getting excited about it on my Warrior, then talents got a serious nerf however.

Thank God for shorter instances too. I'm a hardcore player but I hate how long it takes to clear Shadow Labs for instance, or at least how long it took when I first hit 70. There's just no need to spend that long clearing trash mobs.

Yeah, I agree. I don't mind raiding for hours, but I hate spending 2 hours in a 5 man instance. Most of the people I do instances with have pretty poor gear, so they take ages and we get really bored by the end of them. I have always thought that changes which allow the casual gamer to experience more of the game are a good thing, as after all, they pay just as much to play as the hardcore lot.

**** **** **** :mad:

Too much to go into but anyways i have a 10 day buddy key! What am i limited to in the trial?

Amazingly, I got this from a WoW gold selling site when I googled for it :o
* A level cap of 20.
* A maximum of 10 gold.
* Trade skills are capped at 100 ranks.
* Inability to trade via the auction house, mailbox, or player-to-player.
* In-Game public chat channels will be unavailable. (Players will still be able to communicate using say, party, or whispers).
* characters will be unable to create or join existing guilds.
* Accounts will no longer be able to whisper other players unless they have been added to those players’ friends lists or have received a whisper from them first.
* characters will not be able to invite players into a party.
* characters will not be able to join parties with other players above level 20.
* Voice Chat is disabled on trial accounts.
* Realms with login queues will give priority to customers with retail accounts.
* Will not be eligible for any character Transfer service.

I think that changes for BC trial accounts slightly.

Screw that then lol!

I'd don't think they're right.... I got this from the official site (eventually)

What restrictions apply to trial accounts?
The following restrictions are placed on all trial accounts:

* A level cap of 20.
* A maximum of 10 gold.
* Trade skills are capped at 100 skill-points.
* Inability to trade via the auction house, mailbox, or player-to-player.
* In-game chat channels will be unavailable.
* A limit on the number of tells that can be sent.
* Realms with login queues will give priority to customers with retail accounts.

However, I know goldsellers routinely carry 1000s of gold and can trade freely. Plus the vast majority of gold selling spam is in chat channels....

So they've stealthily removed a lot of these restrictions I think. The only ones I'm sure of are the level/tradeskill cap - which aren't issues really on a trial. Don't let the restrictions put you off, it's a corking game and you'll soon be hooked!

- If you've got any questions about the trial, lets do a new thread so as not to derail this thread further :D

Blizzard have said gold sellers don't use trail accounts. They tend to use accounts got via forged/stolen credit cards.

Titan Grip will be awsome!

Hope you can use it for tanking :)

a 2h axe or sword and a sheild *** :D

Nah you can't, it's a deep fury talent.
Well, you could, but you'd take too much damage to do serious tanking :P
Also I think it decreases weapon speed a further 30% or something. It'll be nice for the extra procs you can get off 2h weapons (eg. Ravager in SM) but I don't think you'll see a significant damage increase.
