Wow, Nvidia have banned Hardware Unboxed from receiving review samples...

HUB is an AMD biased reviewer and whenever the 3000 series won in his benchmarks he used to just brush it off while when the AMD card won by a small margin he hyped it up a lot. I do agree though that this is not a fair move and they are entitled to their opinions however let’s not forget AMD did the same to Jay in the past as well.

He does that whenever something beats a higher cost product, he did the same thing with Nvidia's Pascal cards, he got very excited about those and they were good value. For anyone who thinks he hates Nvidia go watch his Pascal reviews.

You're just being stupid. The reason companies blacklist channels is due to them being unbiased and not shilling their products hard enough. ASRock were one of the other companies to blacklist Hardware Unboxed, and it was for pointing out that either their X570 or B550 boards were crap (don't remember which). They blacklisted Gamers Nexus at the same time for the same reason. I guess that throws doubt on Gamers Nexus' credibility too? Asus are another one who had a problem with HU for making a big deal out of the fact that the 5700 XT TUF was outright faulty by design. Asus threatened legal action against them and demanded they remove the videos, which they refused to do. And of course they were proven right, and even Asus admitted it was busted in the end and released a revised 'Evo' version to fix the exact problem the videos pointed out. Another stain on HU's credibility in your mind though.

Being blacklisted from receiving review samples should be a ****ing badge of honour for a reviewer. Not being willing to sell out and be an unapologetic shill is what these companies hate, not "biased" reviews.
Indeed. A trophy for each blacklist being proudly displayed at the start of every video. With Steve's big cheesy grin whenever he gets a new one :D

HU are one of four tech channels that I have any respect for at all, there is exactly zero evidence that they are AMD biased. They treat both teams fairly, and for every example of them talking up an amd card it's trivial to find one for them talking up an nvidia card too.

HU for benchmarks, Level1 for technical reviews, GN for news, and buildzoid for... ...buildzoid things.

The rest are just noise.

The only conclusion i can draw is Nvidia have seen AMD crush Intel's DIY dominance into dust and they are bricking it. This is the reaction of someone who has something to fear.

Hardware unboxed doesn't care about all this, they are currently retesting 5700XT on new drivers.:D:D:p:p

love it

Have to agree, great post.

Gonna sub to hwu PATREON. I support honest, bias free tech reviews.

These are the types of puppets nvidia desire. If Nvidia want to control the narrative then just do sponsored shill videos like below, digital foundry don't say no.

Steve Burke gets it.... How can we trust anything any reviewer puts out about Nvidia's cards? especially those people ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Not surprised.

HU's 6800/6800XT reviews were a joke. The only RT they tested was the one to show AMD in a good light ( Dirt 5 - a joke of RT that you can't even notice, shadows lol and SOTTR - again shadows, but this one is more impactful at least ). If you want to be unbiased you test everything showing the weaknesses and strengths of both brands.

Also cry me a river. They can afford the cards themselves, looking for freebies to make $$$ from creating biased videos? Gl with that.

Back to playing the best looking game of the year with DLSS and RT : Cyberpunk 2077 ;)

How dare they bench games their viewers demand! Burn them!

Back in the real world, 0.01% of people can utilise or care about RT, and even then, they had RT benchmarks for more than 0.01% of their review.

Get real.

And yeah, since stock is soooo good, why don't they just buy the cards

I said 6800 / XT not the 6900 XT.

Maybe their 6900 XT review includes those RT benchmarks specifically because they were already warned by NV to drop the bias or lose the cards.. Tough ****.

Edit : also thanks for the video review, had no idea it was this bad for AMD's RT. It's basically destroyed 2x perf even without DLSS.
Edit2 : **** me, my ps5 isnt gonna see any proper RT is it...Oh god.

So you too think Nvidia are trying to control the narrative?

I would be more worried if they have not black listed you:D

I would prostitute my integrity for a 3090 :D
