WOW Post your UI and Character :)

download the curse client to update all your addons easily, keeps all your settings too.

I've always wondered, is it actually safe to do this? I can't say I've ever had a keylogger or problem with curse gaming but then again I also don't trust third party companies very much lol

nice to see i have convinced a few people to LUI v3 :)

It's generally either TukUI or Lui nowadays, WTB clever designers to design interfaces apart from these two. Nightcrackers was promising until he copied Tukz and now basically runs TukUIs site as an admin I think.

I've used it for years without problem. Of course, that isn't to say its not completely safe, but they have no reason to ruin their reputation when they're getting loads of money through ad revenue and the like, with such a large community behind them.

And the add-ons themselves can't steal anything because they aren't loaded until after you've logged in, so unless you download them as an exe, they can't steal anything.

I completely came off WoW about a year ago now and still feel like i'm being reeled back in every now and again but i've managed to resist so far.

I was in <Murderer Inc> on Stormreaver, a Horde guild. They've moved server now but i'm not sure where to. It took up too much time and my social life and gym time means more to me nowadays. My mates used to call my ex-gf the 'warcraft widow' because i always on there :)

it's bartender4 that does the XP bars on LUI i believe.

Give /bt4 a try, see if XP bar is enabled on it, unlock and move to where you'd like it.

Whats the best addon for changing floating text?
Damage and the such adn the chat bubbles above chars heads.

Running eyefinity atm and teh text has gone huge

Grind heroic dungeons, buy all the t9 gear, farm the heroic ICC 5 man dungeons for any gear you need in there, then start pugging ICC then find a guild.

That's a fair bit of money for a first time 80er IceShock! ^^

Just started playing again recently, so have had to setup my UI again:

I use a similar placement to yours although yours looks much much nicer :p

What's the info bar addon (titan/fubar or another?) and what's the tooltip one (like where Loken info is displayed)?

I have tried getting all the elements I want onto the screen but it always ends up looking cluttered :( Would be nice if Blizz would add dual screen support so I could chuck stuff like map/dps meters/rarely used skills etc on a different monitor.

Haha, cheers. I've re-made my UI quite a few times now so I improve things with each one.

The info bar is an addon called Bazooka (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/bazooka.aspx), which is a 'Data Broker Display' (I'm not 100% sure what that is, but you can read more about it here: http://wiki.github.com/tekkub/libdatabroker-1-1/). However it appears to be the successor to FuBar (which has been discontinued now I believe). There are actually quite a few bars that utilise the same technology (like this for example: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11831-DockingStationDisplay.html), but I just chose Bazooka because of a recommendation and it hasn't failed me yet. The bar you use isn't hugely important though as they all use the same Data Broker plugins. The plugins are equivalent to the FuBar plugins you could get (ClockFu, MoneyFu etc.), and you can find a bunch of them at these places:

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/SearchResults.aspx?q=broker

http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/index.php?cid=108

Hope that helps!

Edit: Forgot you asked about the tooltip addon. That is CowTip (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/cowtip.aspx), it hasn't been updated for a few months but still works perfectly well for me.
