wow re-roll - class?

Go for the mage, lvl 20 they get a lot better with teleporting yourself around the maps. lvl 40 you can do grps too. the food and water and int buff's make you good too.

Paladines..... hmmm, hows the saying go for them;

takes an army to kill a pally
but takes an army of pallys to kill anything.

they good withbuffs in groups but to be honest, unless you go as a fighting pally and then your not good at healing, its too hard to lvl them, compared to the mage or anyother class.

keep the mage until its lvl 20 then do the pally until the blue xp has run out then do the mage again :)

The characters I've had the most fun leveling have been my affliction warlock and feral druid. Almost no downtime and the warlock soloed every elite quest thrown at her by fear kiting, drain tanking or enslaving elite demons :).

Awesome, I run the same as you.

Aff Warlock
Feral Druid

Wooooot.

I loved Warlock when it first came out. We were rare, no one played them, they were thought of as useless, and it felt like a secret brotherhood. But then they nerfed it up and everyone started playing one, usually those kiddy rogues. Those were the days, any how not played wow for more than a year, and hopefully never will again.

play whatever class you enjoy, seriously. There is no point putting loads of time into a class which essentially you end up not liking. The class I absolutely love is mage, the crutch of just being able to tele/portal to all major cities as well as making my own food and water just makes the class awesome for me as well as the fact its a great pvp control class just makes it a brilliant class as well as the low cooldown fire version which isnt bad for battlegrounds.

I tried all classes to be honest, warlock and shadow priest are the only other 2 classes I would even consider being. Even then I would miss so much about my mage.

Paladin for me, I can tank or heal in Kara (I have the gear to do both) depending on spec and even if I spec to damage I can do a fair amount. Basically means I get to do everything without having to level 3 different chars. Sorted. Oh, and I NEVER die outside of raids.

true that paladyns can offtank but thats about it, you will be much more needed as a healer that offtank, (btw i have never seen so far offtank paladyn and my guild progresses very well in 25man raids), also heared that paladyns are very very unhapy and that constant buffing etc is well anoying for them,

id go for mage as its very very needed clas in 10/25 man raids, good CC and free water for everyone,

so keep up lvling your mage (btw do nor roll hunter as its very hard finding a good guild, to many hunters around)

Sorry, had to step in here and correct you. I comfortably tank every single boss in Kara (apart from Aran off course) and have tanked Gruul fairly easily last week.

Pallies are easily the best 5 man tanks both normal and heroic in my opinion. They can tank Kara and have no problems generating threat. I reckon they start falling down at the SSC level though (it may partially be down to bad itemisation). My guild tried a Pally MT on Morogrim Tidewalker (he hits like a truck) when we were learning the fight - he went down so fast you wouldn't believe it.

i used to enjoy wow, but i work 8 - 6 now and just dont have the time. plus i dont have anyone to lvl with.

if i rarely play, how can i go about finding people to play with, i get so bored lvling on my own.

The only thing paladins suffer on are bosses who silence and ones that hit stupidly hard, as they are short on HP's in comparison to druids and warriors. Threat generation is easy, especially against the undead in Karazhan. The new patch is rumoured to address low paladin HP's and possibly a revamp of the prot tree to improve it though which is a good thing.

I'd agree with the 5 man comment. In my groups I bless everyone with salvation and I'll be damned if anyone pulls threat off me, even if they multishot, blizzard etc. I can do Shattered Halls runs with 3 mages and a healer in about 35-40 mins without one death or losing threat once. Consecrate for the win.

Edit - If you level with a druid and you both take turns in healing\tanking then not only will you get experience of doing both jobs and find getting groups easy, you'll also get the pick of all the plate and therefore build up all 3 sets of gear at the same time, same goes for the druid if you ban rogues from the group. :p

I recently started playing this, got a few level 8's to see what I like, I am digging my undead warlock.

And I find the cartoon style of it all pretty funny. :D

Couldn't agree more. I have only been playing for 2 weeks, and also have a Warlock. Having great fun. I am going to roll a couple of other classes to make a comparison, but cannot see myself straying from the Undead One.

I got a gnome mage as well thats pretty funny..

Cannot remember what server I am on but it would be cool to get a group going if anyone is interested?

imho THE most fun class to play is a rogue. stealth can be amazing at times. me and a few irl friends all leveled rogues to 70 on outland, and had a great laugh all the way lol

someone mentioned 5 man heroics, How much more difficult are they compared to the normal 5 mans, just got my TK key last night and want to make use of it immediately :)
