Exactly my point, i did not say there is absoluetly no grind in WAR, just that in WOW beside grind you can do nothing.

You do realise since Wrath will only have one PVP area, it will be even more busier than the 100 in Warhammer?

Yes, until everyone is bored of it and gets back to their grind after about one week

Blizzard does everything to keep their customers, they take absolutely no risk, at first the only difference there was between horde and alliance besides races was shaman pally, what did they do to please the alliance crying that shaman were OP? they give each realm the missing class, talk about immersion and what do i learn that is coming from the next expansion? One single class for both realms, come on Death Knight in alliance? Wtf is that

That is just 100+ in a lowbie pvp area. Come tier 4 where the end game is PvP, castle and city seiging, there will be a full serverful of people in mass battles. And to be frank, unless Blizz have secretly upgraded all their servers, I don't hold much hope for the area with half the server trying to battle it out there. Even with their much touted low spec engine, getting too many people in 1 place lags out all spells and brings that server down. This is why city sieges in WoW were dropped, BGs created and DP put in to stop the regular crashes seen just after live. WAR so far seems to have the server side tech just right, I've been in battles of 300+ in CB and my screen didn't lag at all (although you do need a fairly meaty system to render all that satisfactorily).

Well, Blizzard has got quite a very great reputation (Starcraft, Diablo etc..) and they released an MMO with an established IP at the good time, no real competitors at the time. The game was not perfect at start but it was playable and that's what was important.

Also it's not because 10 million subscribers(5 from Asia if i remember correctly? don't quote me on this tho) play the game that it is good. Let's face it, there isn't really any other alternative, beside of course now WAR

well if you really wanna compare you should compare www.worldofwarcraft.com and www.warhammeronline.com
It is no news that GOA is rubbish at everything they do and seeing has www.wow-europe.com is the exact copy of www.worldofwarcraft.com its better to compare the official

This is the only big flaw of WAR for me, giving the european management to GOA

Secondly, the PQs get boring the day WOWs end game gets boring. But no one mentioned boredom until you did. People simply said that first:

1)WAR has more PvP, and more meaningful PvP.
2)WAR has more modes of gameplay compared to WOWs.

Wow, level 70s zerked a lvl 10 town? Now thats what I call PvP .

For me, this is something that drew me into WAR. Sure, ganking lowbies and running over towns is "fun" if you're doing it, but if you're on the other side it's demeaning and dreadful. Thanks to the chicken system, that kind of crap can't happen. Sorts the jerks from the crowd tbh.

Lol i have played Warhammer, the only possitive i had for the game was i liked the classes, that is it. I waited for Warhammer for ages and was really excited, but to me it's not even as good as conan. The animations are just horrible, and i can't see a simple little patch changing that because why didn't they do it before releasing the game? It's just not in WoWs league i am afraid

Clearly hasn't played the games longer than 5 minutes. Very close minded I recon, also I'm going to have to resort to the old smiley .

I played WoW since release for well over 2 years, have a few high level chars, done a lot of end game PvE content and the PvP - it's just a constant grindfest. I remember WoWs early days and the animations weren't up to scratch on that either, it wouldn't even cope with the mass PvP thats in War atm, remember the world events? They crashed the servers . Doesn't happen in war.

WoW for predicable gameplay (PvE).
War for the unpredictable gameplay (PvP).

I know what I prefer.

I like EQ2, its better than any other mmo and it feels like a mmorpg.

But the 10 million this is such a blag. Even the adverts for WoW state 10 million HAVE EXPERIENCED, not 'are subcribed'. Its one of the biggest internet blags ever.

Saying that i did enjoy my time on WoW, but i enjoyed AoC as well... but then again i like going slow which is what no one seem to understand in the world of MMO's. All i hear is ding 20 ding 40 ding 50 .... then you get people moaning that there is nothing to do and that the game is boring. I mean wtf happened to having fun rather than grinding each friggin level as quick as possible?

Yeah i think so too, saying that seeing Rank40 on WAR already makes me chuckle, do they guys even want to play to game or just wanna wave their epeen around boards... French are really disgusting for that, i was browsing a forum and everyone was licking them for doing that and how they rule the world... 18hours a day with 6 hours sleep way to play game, i bet they'll get bored before any people will be in t4 scenarios..
