Finally found it on an Italian web site, downloaded it and installed it. All was going well until I found I couldn't configure my wheel and pedals.

Andi.

Had a go at it for about 30 secs and uninstalled it, thought I had downloaded the wrong demo. Very poor imo...

At first i couldm't find jow to enable my whell to work, but i found it. And you can configure pedals and wheel. I'm using g25 and i've got no problems. Game might look a bit crap at first but when you get used to it it starts to make sence. It took me round 3 hours to learn how to drive a car, no helps and on hardest lvl i manage to beet computer, and still it takes some eforf trying to win a race. Graphics looks terible at first but now i'm loving it blur is quite nice, it's just sad that game sometimes goes into slowdown i think it's cause game was ported from console, draw distance is crap. At first mine thoughs were the same as yours but now i don't look at all those bad things and i enjoy the ride. 19quid is not that much for a game, and this is the only rally game that came out recently, love it or hate it :)
yeah i was also expecting more from this game, lets hope it will improve in near feature.

I haven't followed the development of this but I'm guessing this is sill an arcade game and in no way a simulator?

From what I understand they were going for the old style Colin McRae games. Will give this a try this evening and find out if they've achieved it!

well just doing a video of it on my highest settings (will add when uploaded )

basically from the level i played it plays like the first colin mccrae game if you ever played that :) that was a good game but it was also like ten years ago aswell .

graphics arnt to bad and once you set up a pad ok or configure whatever you drive with its relivitly easy to drive.

not bad bit of a time filler but not excellent 7/10 i think is fair

Hmm, it says it works with the 360 pad but it doesn't work for me. I can use the pad in the menus but not during the game?

@linaaslt - How did you get your wheel configured?

@dirtydog - It seems many people are having 360 controller problems. Guru3D forums have a discussion on it.

I hope they bring out a controller fix or I'll be cancelling my pre-order. I haven't seen enough of it yet to comment other than this. Some videos look OK but I need to 'feel' it before I buy it.

Andi.

For those having 360 controller problems, you need to change the "controls" header from "keyboard" to "Controller One." It works fine after that.

Thanks. Not very intuitive is it.

I just tried it again. Pretty poor really, the graphics are inferior to Colin McRae Rally 3 I think. The draw distance is poor, you can see objects popping into view. The speed of pace notes ruins it regardless of anything else anyway.
