Write off thresholds

£2000 damage done to my car. Worth £3500 at the time so more than 50% here. Like you I **** myself as to whether it would actually get repaired. Thankfully it did.

I dont mind if it gets written off, on a side note though, how do i get my plate back if they do write it off?

You really are worryingly obsessive about things like this. Sorry to dissapoint you but somebody backed into him in a carpark. It really was THAT exciting.

I dunno, I think we all like a good OCUK crash investigation

Garage have phoned saying its a total loss. No idea how things proceed, helphire currently have not heard back from the engineer's report.

We'll see.

i know you where toying with the idea of changing, bet you never thought you'd be forced into it like this

Still, im a great believer in karma. You were obviously meant to change the car ....

As i say, it depends if i can buy the salvage back or not. I will have to see what the insurance company say. If i cant i dont know, either another S-class, or perhaps a BMW 7-series, maybe even an A8.

Only because you know what happened! - I did not know what happened and asked.

If that makes me an obsessive, I'll join you in that particular club. ;)

Unlucky Jez (or lucky depending how you look at it!) - E38 740i next? :)
