WTF? The Moon?

Its 10:51 as I type this and I can see the moon in the western sky at about 20 degrees of elevation (estimated).

WTF?

I've seen it in late afternoon plenty of times before but never in the middle of the day. Weird...

how old are you? cos i see it regularly during the day. i can remember seeing it when i was at school, and being fascinated that it was visible in the day as well as at night.

I'm 23...

I regularly used to see it on the way home from school and college so 3-6...But I really don't remember seeing it so 'early' :/

Yes, the moon can be seen in the sky at most times in the day depending on the rotation of the moon at that moment in time, sorted.

I didnt want to start a whole new thread about the moon, but a few days back me and a friend both noticed the moon looked double its usual size, however when we came out of the shop 10minutes later it was normal again. Freaky.

that's something to do with the atmosphere making it look larger. Also, i have seen the moon plenty of times during the day too, aslo in the morning, nothing unusual

I went to the moon once. I was Ulsters top Astronaut of 2003. I had to give it up but as the commies were too interested in me.
