Wtf?

all shops do that to stop people (like you?) not paying for a TV licence. Sadly it doesn't matter if you don't watch TV. Has a TV? need a TV licence

Hey, I knew you were being ironic. You were, weren't you?

And: Can we think of a better way to enforce payment of the licence than the current method of checking up on unlicenced addresses?

Until the TV licence is abolished, don't blame those whose job it is to do the admin. Lobby your MP to abolish it if you really think that should happen.

They don't stop anyhow if you do let them in... it might go quiet for a few months but by 6 months later the harassment will start again.

OH DEAR, WOULD YOU PLEASE REFERENCE THE TV LICENCE WEBSITE BEFORE POSTING IGNORANT, INCORRECT DRIVEL.

You can have as many Tvs as you like in your house without having a TV license, the license is for receiving LIVE TV, as long as your TV or computer isn't connected to an Ariel receiving live broadcast material from BBC/SKY/Virgin or whoever you are fine.

Just like me if you use your TV/Monitor to play games, use computer, watch iplayer, C4OD and DVDs you do not need to pay the ridiculous £150 per year.
