WWDC 2014

Looking forward to the event :).

Not expecting anything iPhone 6 related or rather, not expecting much.

Will be picking up the 6 no doubt, but that will be announced on it's own or at another event. Interested in the new MacBook Air and software changes for OSX :).
 
WWDC stands for World Wide Developer Conference. This isn't a product announcement event. Important new products will get their own event.
 
I'm sure they have said since the iPhone 4 event that they want the WWDC to be about software only (hence the shift)

You are correct, but the Keynote kick it of and after that it is basically Apple developers showing off how to use new APIs to the developers, and designers showing off how to implement the new designs. Basically just developer/design stuff after that, so presentations, work shops and so on.

I really hope the absence of neon colours and circles on the iOS8 banner means that they are going to redesign some of the uglier icons (settings, safari and newsstand I'm looking at you). I really think they could do better on the icons.
 
dont no about any one else but am kind of hoping for a Mac Mini update with 4k support as that is what am hoping to be my next setup, my early 2009 imac while still going strong is showing its age in lightroom with RAW files
 
Very strange image for iOS8... can't tell if it is a rain cloud or the sea with light shining through it... either way, both water based????

Maybe the pranksters LINKY were right but they were one release too early??? :p
