WWDC 2014

They'd have to actively drop support for ObjC in the LLVM compiler. Personally, I can't see that happening. I still use C quite a bit when dealing with Core Foundation APIs instead of Cocoa, and C++ is fundamental for game development.

Choice. The Apple stream requires Apple hardware.

You can paste the streams url into VLC and watch it on windows apparantly. Wish i'd have known before so I didn't have to sit in front of the PC with the Macbook out as well :p

I'd usually jump on the beta but I'll sit these out (knowing they'll stretch the meaning of "Fall 2014" all the way until November).

With the new frameworks and how much they integrate, I can either see an iPad Pro on the horizon, cross platform apps or combined OS's soon

Same boat as me. Which one are you interested in?

Not entirely sure yet
I'm starting a mechanical engineering degree in September and I have no decent laptop
I'll either be going for a top spec 13" Air or a middle of the road 13" Pro

I'll be keeping my PC for gaming but it depends if i'm going to want to be doing my CAD work on it. In which case I might be best going for the 17" Pro with decent graphics
I need to do my research bit more first i think

It's awfully Team Fortress 2.

Woo hoo I'm in too. Can't be many Apple fans online if I can still sign up so long after the announcement :)
