Well I registered mine through one of those RegMyUDID sites, got a confirmation through, updated to iOS7 and now it says I'm not registered as part of the developer program! Lovely.
 
I do hope they are cooking up a darker colour scheme for black phones - that current one complements white phones nicely but looks like it will clash horribly with black ones :(
 
I know it's a beta but it runs quite choppy on my 4S. Checked my system stats app and there was only 8Mb RAM free with no 3rd party apps opened :(
 
As an ex android user, I'm glad for these changes, brings back some things I was missing :)

Cannot believe they did not add a better use of accounts, like on android when I log into my google account or facebook account I dont have to do it ever again (well apart from buying apps)

I do like the way apple seem to wait till people are annoyed at something then fix it as a new 'feature' like auto app updates lmao :D

Really looking forward to trying it out, i'll have to wait till September tho :(

I'm still debating whether to update my iPhone and iPad. Sounds like I should update my iPad 4 but maybe wait a while on my iPhone 4S.
 
Running on my iPhone 5 (black). I wouldn't say it's choppy - just the transitions are a little too slow and laborious. Doesn't feel snappy.

Looks nice though - will no doubt have a play today.

I doubt it... However it will look very nice with the red/blue/green/yellow/orange/purple iPhone that will probably get released ;)
 
It definitely appears that a lot of people can update to and use iOS 7 without their UDID being registered (but not all), might as well try it if you aren't registered!

According to the MacRumors thread anyway.
 
but what happens if you upgrade and it's locked once installed? Can't use your phone.
 
I was contemplating it, but I'm just going to wait until the GM comes out like I always do. A change as awesome as this shouldn't be ruined by little glitches or performance issues, I want to use it when it's as intended

I don't understand, I keep reading comments about 'quick reply'.

At the moment, I see a message, I tap in the box, type and tap 'send'. I don't see how it could be any quicker.

How can one little 'missing' feature make a whole new OS version 'Garbage'?
